Surprised You Didn't Know That

Brady: "Did you know that if you lose your tooth on your birthday, the tooth fairy brings you extra money?"

Sean and I learn something new from our children everyday.

...She brought him $3.

We are so glad Brady is part of our family.  He loves reading,  playing with friends,  anything Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,  and the music club he is currently attending at school.

We made it!

She is 1!

Jolie is a fast little thing, but is too impatient to walk. Taking slow steps totally cramps her style. She has 4 teeth. She loves playing with her brother's and sisters, and adores our attention. She has learned to sign "cold" and "all done". The signs look a lot alike, but she makes a "kuh" sound or a "duh" sound, so we know which one. :)

She is a seriously happy and smiley little thing and we are glad she crashed our family party! 

First Snow of the Season

Halloween happened to coincide with the first snow of the season this year. Sean took Sadie, Brady, and Wes trick or treating into the frigid, sleeting evening. I stayed home with baby Jojo and passed out candy. Bethanie opted to go and hang out with a friend. Even though the three trick or treaters only hit 7 or 8 houses they came home with their buckets half full! People were trying to get rid of their candy!

First pumpkin is plastic, second is Sadie's, third (bat) is Wesley's, 4th is Brady's, 5th is Bethanie's.

Nine Months!

Jolie is pulling herself up to standing now, she has two shy little teeth, and she has decided that she no longer eats baby food. She is such a joy in our home!

12 is a big one!

Bethanie chose Lobster Bisque with salad and bread as her birthday dinner. Her birthday cake(wreck) was a butterbeer flavored cake with a caramel filling. She chose cookie dough ice cream to go along with the cake. 

Bethanie has really been looking forward to this birthday! Twelve is a big year in our church. She will graduate from primary and join the youth program at church. She is also able to attend the temple now. She is very excited!

Bethanie plays the flute in band this year, she still loves singing with the school choir, she has an after school job walking a neighbor's dog, and she LOVES cross country running. She really enjoyed swimming this last summer, and can't wait to get back in the pool. 

We are so grateful for the sweet and helpful girl that she is. She is very good at showing gratitude for everything she has been given. She is a blessing in our home.

Fall Break 2014

It started with a trip to the movie theater, then we took a short trip to Tuttle Orchards. It was a lovely fall break!

Eight Months Old

She has really started exploring everything. She loves to give us all big, wet kisses. :)
