A Little of Everything, Please?

My mom: Do you want rice?
Brady: I want rice.
My mom: Do you want beans?
Brady: I want beans.
My mom: Do you want potatoes?
Brady: I want potatoes.
My mom: Do you want chicken?
Brady: I want chicken.
My Dad: Brady, do you want a stick of dynamite?
Brady: I want...(pause) I not talking to you.

She Looks Just Like Her Dad, Huh?

This is just strange.

One of those pictures is not Sadie. It is my sister, and Sadie's hero, Aunt MIMMY!

She Got Attached

It happened rather fast. I pulled an egg out of the fridge to make Sadie a microwave scrambled cheese egg. Within moments she had picked up the egg and named it and made it her own.
Needless to say, she didn't have an egg for breakfast.

What's In a Name?

Sadie and Brady have come together and collectively named one of the toys. It is lovingly called, "Moon-Oh-Micey-Mikey-Micey".
This isn't a one time deal. This name has stuck for over two months. It is really funny to hear little Brady call for it in his little two year old voice.

A Predicament

Sadie: "Mom, I am afraid of Disneyland. I am afraid the sea witch will cast a spell on me when she sees me. Dad told me if I don't bother the sea witch she won't bother me, but I am always bothering people!"

They're Called the Magic Words

Sadie: "Jeff, do you want to know the three words that will get you anything? Please, thank you, sorry, and Jesus."

My 7 Year Old Can Beat Up Your 7 Year Old

Saturday morning Bethanie got down on the ground and, much to my surprise and amazement, started whipping out man style push ups. I was thoroughly impressed.

Who Wants That Job?

Sadie: "Mom, if a clown gets sick, is there a substitute clown?"

Is That a Fact?

Bethanie has been learning about the difference between fiction and non-fiction stories at school.
Yesterday she told me she was going to write a non-fiction story. She said the title would be, "I Have a Butt Crack".
At least she gets the concept.

Shake It Off

Sadie: "Mom, have you seen those weights that you shake? They are supposed to get rid of the shaky skin under your arm. You need to get one of those."

Partners In Crime

Today I walked in the bathroom just in time to see Brady dump about 3 gallons of water on the floor, including down the heating vent. Good times.
I reprimanded Brady and made sure he knew I was NOT happy with his choice. This kid has perfected the manipulation process already. He responded "Sorry, mom. I am sorry, mom. (Here is where he tilted his head down, rolled his eyes down to the left and gave me a perfect little frown.) I really dint mean to."
Sadie, who was standing behind him claiming she had nothing to do with it, chimed in, "Oh mom, how can you stay mad after that?"
