Are You Sure This Is What You Want?

The real words; "I know when I am baptized my wrongs are washed away.."

Brady's version; "I know when I am baptized my arms are washed away..."

Do Those Leave Stains?

Brady: "Mom, how many rainbows can dad fit in his car?"
Me: "Um, I don't think dad has ever put a rainbow in his car."
Brady: "I like to keep rainbows in my pocket."

Six

Six reasons we love that Sadie is a part of our family;
1- We are rarely bored when Sadie is around.
2- She takes very good care of her family members and watches over all of us.
3- She asks very interesting questions and always keeps us thinking.
4- She is very creative and is always making decorations for our home with glue, scissors, markers, and whatever else she can get the glue to stick to.
5- Her smile can light up a room. She has many fans who have been captured by her enthusiasm.
6- Sadie is very patient with us, her parents, as we try different strategies to guide her very big spirit in the right direction.

My sweet little Sadie is sick today with a cold, but I still hope that her birthday is a fun one for her!

I Scream You Scream

Sadie: "Mom, yesterday was the best day of my whole life. Do you know why?"
Me: "Why?"
Sadie: "Because I finally caught up with the ice cream man."

"That Girl Can Sure Shake Her Bum"

At my sister in law's recent reception they had a dance floor. If there is a dance floor and there is music, you can bet you will find me dancing on it. I don't want anyone to get the impression that I know how to dance, I just enjoy moving to a good beat!
My favorite quote from that evening was when Sean's aunt, Jeanne, told my sister in law that I could sure shake my bum.
I think watching me dance was most interesting to my son, Brady. Since that time he will occasionally follow me around and say, "Mom, wiggle your bum!"

I think I am ready for him to get over that phase.
