Sadie drew a face on a grape tomato, named it, and even insisted she was taking it with her to the library.
Sadly, she didn't get her way, as there is a "no food allowed" sign at the library, and as much as she hates the idea, the tomato still counted as food.
An hour after we got home from the library her new little "best friend" disappeared. Upon inquiry, Sadie found out that Brady ate her tomato friend.
His response, "You will never see your friend again."

Brady's Boredom Buster
Me: "Brady, why are you making your sister cry?"
Brady: "Because it is one of my favorite things to do."

Working On Conflict Resolution
This was definitely not one of those proud mom moments. While we were visiting my parents who are out of state, my girls came running up their stairs, screeching.
Brady had just peed on them... and the floor, and their bedding...
When I asked him WHY he would do that, he calmly replied, "Sadie was making me mad."
After calling my husband and freaking out over the phone, grounding Brady to his room, and letting him know that if he ever does it again he will be getting a healthy dose of soap in his mouth, he has finally reverted back to handling conflicts the old-fashioned way.
Thankfully, he has gone back to hitting his sisters when he is mad at them. : P

What if?
Brady is working through some "worst case scenarios" in his head lately. About 300 times a day he will give us a situation and ask us to come up with the best way to handle it.
Some examples;
"What if someone tied a rope to our van and pulled us up to the top of a big tower and left us there?"
"What if the sun fell on our house?"
"What if Lightning McQueen came to visit us and he decided to drive on our heads?"
It truly makes me wonder what it is like inside his mind.

My Assistant Shopper
As we were walking through a department store the other day, Brady was yelling;
"Mom! They have bras! You wear bras. Those would be perfect for you. You should get one!"

It's Kinda Sad
Brady (Forlorn): "Mom, Sadie just poisoned me while we were outside. I think I am going to die now."
(There was no poisoning, for anyone worried.)

Three Days Later...
Brady (3) to our dinner guests; "We just drove back from Utah. It took us a really long time because we had to stop at every gas station and bathroom we saw." (Here is where he rolled his eyes.)
