Have I ever mentioned Sadie's obsession with "The Blue Potty"?
It all started last fall when we accompanied Bethanie's preschool class to the pumpkin patch. Bethanie had to go to the bathroom while we were there. That, of course, prompted 8 other children to need to go as well.
There was a line of kids waiting to go to the "blue potty" and I was the adult that got to help them. Sadie was one of those kids.
Now, Sadie can spot a "blue potty" from a mile away. She gets very excited and announces every one that she sees. It is quite humorous.
This morning she said, "MOM! Can we drive past the blue potty today while we take Bethanie to school?"
What is it with the blue potty?

Er...Excuse Me

Many people know that I take calls every morning for three hours for an airline in Kuwait. I take everything from reservations to complaints- right from home.
This morning I was bouncing Brady in my lap while talking to a travel agent.
Suddenly Brady VERY LOUDLY filled his diaper.
The lady on the other side of the telephone paused for a brief moment, composed herself, then moved on.
Do you think I should have told her that I worked from home???

Nephi who?
On Sunday I told Sadie that she needed to start getting ready for church.
She said, "Mom, I don't want to go to church! I don't want to go and do the things that the Lord commands!!"

Can I Get One of Those?
We got Brady a little baby bathtub. With it came something that I had never seen before. It is the "bathtub hammock". Brady is a very big fan. I think he would recommend this product to anyone.
Sean saw Brady enjoying himself so much that he has decided he wants a bathtub hammock for himself. Does anyone know where I could find a bathtub hammock for a big tub? :)

Two Funny
Sadie said a couple of things yesterday that made me laugh.
We were having Family Home Evening last night and I was giving the lesson. She decided she needed to take a potty break. She looked at me and said,
"Mom, I have to go potty. Can you pause it, please?"
(Apparently my kids adjusted quickly to the concept of Tivo at my parent's house!)
The girls were eating their FHE treat a little while later. Sadie busted out with,
" I am a Super Hero! I am Super Messy and I am here to save the day!!"
That Super hero seems to be visiting us regularly. :)

My Dad
The last time we left our hero he had taken his two grand daughters out for an afternoon. It ended badly when the three year old had to use the bathroom at McDonalds.
We join the three of them again a little over a week later... once again at McDonalds.
Moments after taking a few small nibbles of food from her happy meal, the three year old proceeded to quickly clear out the dining area when she threw up three times all over the floor.
Grandpa, or "Deedah", as they call him, ran for a stack of napkins.
It takes a great deal of napkins to clean that mess up.
They will not be returning to that establishment.

What Is Your Vote?
They Are Russian?
Yesterday Bethanie told my brother Jeff that she wanted to play space ship. She told him that there would be good aliens and bad aliens.
The bad aliens are from space.
The good aliens are from Russia. They work at a chocolate factory.
Apparently these are of the illegal variety?
