The Reason For the Holiday

Me: "Brady, I think we are going to meet dad for lunch."
Brady: "We can't do that. It's Valentine's Day. You only eat candy on Valentine's Day."

One Little Speckled Frog

Sadie was given the assignment to go home and make a Valentine's Day box that she could keep her Valentines in this coming Tuesday. Most girls would get out the glitter and ribbon, but not my little Sadie. She is obsessed with frogs.

Little Giant

Four years ago the Patriots and the Giants met together at the Superbowl. The Giants won and my husband was on cloud nine for a few days. About a week later his first son was born and he was also on cloud nine.

Although we much prefer the Giants at our house, our first son was named "Brady", which may seem to many as a name sake of the Patriots quarterback. Not so.

Last Sunday we sat together as a family and once again watched a great game between the Patriots and the Giants. Little Brady sat on his dad's lap and routed for the Giants, but kept really close tabs on the guy with the "B-R-A-D-Y" on the back on his shirt. We were all thrilled to see the Giants win.

Happy Birthday to my little man. He has a giant spirit and a lot of personality!

I am sure that my kids have said funny and entertaining things in the last couple of weeks. I seem to be too tired, sore, and fat to notice. Poor kids.
One month before this kid comes. I am praying that my family can put up with me for that much longer.
