Resolutions

Today at dinner Bethanie asked us to talk about the resolutions we were making for 2012. She decided to share her goals first.
Bethanie would like to eat healthier. She would like to exercise more. She would also like to be more patient with her siblings and parents.
We talked to her about her plan for making those goals happen. We had a nice conversation about setting goals and making a plan so that she can accomplish those goals.
Sean turned to Sadie and asked her what her goals were for the new year.

She responded, "I am going to watch as much television as possible."

Immortal

Brady: "Dad, do garbage men die?"
Sean: "Everyone dies, Brady."
Brady: "But garbage men don't, right?"
Sean: "Yes, Brady, garbage men die too."
Brady: "That is just silly, dad."

Christmas

Brady (Before we had opened a single present) : "See that big box right there? That is my train table. I will open that one first."

Brady (Opening a black and decker toy tool set.) : "Dad, I think I opened your present."

We had such a wonderful day together, celebrating our Savior's birth.We hope you had a lovely day as well! Merry Christmas!

 

For a Staple Emergency

Brady: "I think I forgot to tell Santa that I really want a staple gun for Christmas, dad."

Dear Tooth Fairy

Brady was looking at and holding Sadie's recently lost tooth. He dropped it. The dog ate it.

Suspicious

Me: "Brady, what are you doing?"
Brady: "Um, I don't think I am going to tell you."

Super

Brady: "Mom, please tie my blanket like a cape."
Done
Brady: "Now all I need is the underwear over my pants!"
