Another Year Over

Another year flew by. This one seemed to go a little slower during winter time, but we got through. On to another summer!

Spring Break 2014

Once again we decided to stick around the area for spring break. We do so much traveling during the summer months, and we can only push that travel budget so far. :)
We decided we would visit the same park that we did last year. The kids love it! It was a windy day, but we had fun.

When He Grows Up

Brady: "I changed my mind, I want to be a paleontologist when I grow up."
Wesley: "I want to be a dinosaur when I grow up!"
Bethanie: "Hey, you can work together."

It's Genetic

Sean: "Wesley, what do you want on your pancake?"
Wesley: "I want pancake on my peanut butter."
Sean: "A man after my own heart."

Jolie's Baby Blessing

Jolie's dad, Sean, gave Jolie her baby blessing on March 30th during sacrament meeting. My father, Jed, was able to be there and join in the circle, as well as our bishopric, and some family friends from our ward.

Sean's sisters Katie, Amy, and Sarah, with cousin Reagan, were there, as well as his mom, Carol. My mom was also with us. Bethanie, Sadie, Brady, and Wesley were the proud siblings that day.

Jolie's aunt, Katie, and one of my visiting teachers were very kind and took notes during Jolie's baby blessing. I was busy trying to keep Wesley from yelling and running away from our seats.

-Jolie was sent here at this time, by her loving Father in Heaven, to learn and to grow on this earth . She is one of His choice daughters.
-She needs to know of the great love that her Heavenly Father has for her, as well as the love that her parents have for her.
-She was blessed with health from serious illness or infirmities.
-She was blessed with a curious mind and counseled to seek after good things and to gain an education.
She was blessed spiritually that she will desire and have a relationship with the Savior. She will recognize the light of Christ in her life and reflect it to others.
-She was counseled to follow the good examples of her siblings and parents, and to be an example to them.
-She was counseled to develop her talents and touch others with the light of Christ through those talents.
-When the time is right, she will meet and marry a worthy young man in the temple and raise her own family.
