Family Fun Run

On our 6th day in NY we spent the day getting ready for our family fun run. Sean's uncle was recently diagnosed with cancer. Sean's mom set up a small community fun run/ walk to raise money to help his family with expenses. It was a stormy day, but we ended up getting a break in the weather for just long enough to complete our run!
The kids did great. I ran with Brady. That tough kid ran 2 & 1/3 miles without stopping. The girls ran with their cousins. I was proud of them and happy that we could show our love and support for family.

Day 2 of our trip was a little bit stressful. The quarter sized patch of poison ivy that Sadie had on Thursday was now covering her chest and face. A call to the doctor's office at home and a trip to the pharmacy did the trick.  Wesley must have been jealous of the crazy vibe surrounding Sadie;  He decided to get a stick of taffy stuck in his hair.
