How You Can Tell Sadie is Sick

She is asleep before 9pm.

She Looks Great in a Bonnet

Brady: "Mommy, did the pioneers walk?"
Me: "Yes Brady, the pioneers walked a lot."
Brady: "Did Darney (his name for my mom) walk with the pioneers?"

The Beginning

We have reached the end of hour one of potty training. Brady is currently sporting his masculine pair of Thomas the Train underwear. He used the potty twice.
Potty training week is not my favorite. An entire week in 15 minute increments has a tendency to go sloooooow.

I Guess the Feeling is Mutual

Me: "Wow, I really need a break! I think I will go to France for a week!"
Sadie: "Mom, why don't you go for a year instead?"

Lookin' Good

I put on a new pair of jeans and a shirt that Sean got me for our upcoming trip out of the country. Brady saw me and said, "Mom, you look so handsome!"
Sadie saw me and said, "Mom, you are so sesky!"

The Lord Does Have a Sense of Humor

I was sitting -alone- on my front porch, hiding from my children. I sent my prayers up towards the beautiful blue sky. I prayed that I would have the strength to go back in the house and deal with my kids who just wouldn't stop fighting and throwing tantrums.
As the last words went through my mind... a loud cry was heard through the front door. My kids were once again screaming at each other.
I had no choice but to laugh.
I may just be taking the car when Sean walks in the door at 8:30 tonight.
