My favorite part of Thanksgiving Eve was when I dropped the pumpkin pie, upside down, about 1.5 seconds after pulling it out of the oven.

I am grateful that I had enough to whip up a second one!
I made a pie one year - it was one of those cool-whip pudding pies that you have to give time to set up. Immediately following dinner, I pulled it out of the fridge and it went flying onto the floor's face RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE DINNER GUESTS! Very embarrassing! And we had no pie in reserve... I love pie. :)

Sucky. There would have been wailing and gnashing of teeth at my house...and then I would have made another pie. :) Happy Thanksgiving!
