Life's Big Questions

Bethanie: "That is a creepy looking bug."
Sadie: "Hey! God made that bug."
Brady: "Who's God?"
Sean: "I guess we are due for another Family Home Evening Lesson."

Pepper

Pepper Ann is a Shih Poo. She is 8 weeks old. She is adorable and doesn't sleep at all at night. She joined our family this last Saturday.

 

Happy Compass Lumpus Day

Dad: "Sadie, what did you learn about in school today?"
Sadie: "Eh, something about a guy named Compass Lumpus."
Dad: "Um, would that be Christopher Columbus?"
Sadie: "Yeah, that guy."

Is That All You're Taking?

Brady ran away. He was half way down the street in his pajamas, clutching his blankie, when I figured out he was gone. He was mad at me. I wouldn't let him have marshmallows for breakfast.

The Memory Game

Sadie: "Mom, you wouldn't believe what kids can do."
Mom: "Sadie, would you believe that I was a kid once?"
Sadie: "Oh I believe it, but that was a long, long time ago. There is no way you can remember that."

Fundraiser

Sadie was asking me about my plans for the day. She wanted an extensive list. I mentioned that her dad and I were going to "watch the stock" today, because we may be trying to sell stock to get some money. She thought that was a fantastic idea. She said she wanted to have a lemonade stand today to help. Then she asked me who I thought would make more money.
I truly hope that her dad and I are able to make more, but at this point I am unsure.

Didn't You Lose a Tooth?

Sadie lost a tooth this last Tuesday. I could post a picture, but my kids lost the card that I use to transfer photos (AGAIN!) and you wouldn't be able to see a tooth missing anyway. Sadie's permanent tooth got really excited and popped up before the baby tooth was even loose. Sadie had two rows of teeth for a few weeks there. She was my little shark. :)
