Don't Let Her Testify

This morning Sean caught Sadie doing something she knew she wasn't supposed to be doing. She looked at him and asked,
"Dad, are you going to beat me?"
Sean told her that dad and mom DON'T beat her.
She said, "Yes you do! You and mom beat me. I PROMISE."

Sean told me never to let Sadie testify in a court of law.
